The Hour Is Near

At 8 pm Local Time people around the world will be turning off their lights to help raise awareness about Global Warming.

The hour has passed in much of the world as seen here in Sydney where the usually illuminated shells of the Sydney Opera House have gone dark.

Earth Hour was created by the World Wildlife Fund in Sydney, Australia in 2007, and in one year has grown from an event in one city to a global movement. Find out more about earth hour at http://www2.earthhourus.org/
